Event Recap: 2026 US Quadball West National Qualifier
March 11, 2026

Brooms, balls and beaters. Hoops and headbands. Chasers and seekers. Throwing and tackling. … Welcome to quadball!

Confusing at first glance? Yes. Popular sport? Getting there. If running and elements of handball, rugby and dodgeball sound interesting, then quadball could be your next activity!

After an exciting weekend bringing the new sport to Snohomish County with Quadballfest: Seattle in November, US Quadball returned to the area four months later to host the 2026 West National Qualifier at Kasch Park in Everett from Saturday-Sunday, March 7-8. This was one of five national tournaments hosted across the U.S. during the winter and spring months, and the winning teams punched their tickets to the USQ Club Competitive division and College Division One at US Quadball Cup, which will be hosted in California in April. The other national qualifier sites were Garland (Texas) in January, York County (South Carolina) and Howard County (Maryland) in February and Champaign County (Illinois) in March.

Teams in attendance this past weekend included the following: Bay Area Bakers and Bay Area Breakers (San Jose, California), Silicon Valley Vipers (Mountain View, California), The Lost Boys and The Second Stars (Los Angeles, California), Texas Copperheads (Houston, San Antonio, Dallas & Austin, Texas) and Seattle Sirens (Seattle, Washington).

After back-to-back days of intense gameplay, the Copperheads finished atop the standings with an undefeated 6-0 record, and the Sirens placed second after a golden-goal victory over The Lost Boys. Click here for all results.
