Everett 3on3 presented by Boeing is undoubtedly a community favorite every year in Snohomish County. The tournament doesn’t only focus on intense small-sided basketball, it also brings players, teams and families together through festival vibes of food and music.
From July 18-19, more than 230 teams consisting of approximately 950 players dribbled into Everett, helping to bring in an attendance of more than 5,000, also including staff, referees and volunteers. For the past four years, the event had been held in downtown Everett with hoops lining the pavement of Colby and Wetmore avenues. But for 2026, the fifth anniversary of the tournament, the location moved to Everett Community College (EvCC). The change allowed games to still be played outdoors, but there was also an indoor component at the Walt Price Student Fitness Center, the home court of the EvCC Trojans men’s and women’s basketball teams.
Another difference this year was the scheduling of games. In previous years, teams played their three guaranteed pool-play games on Saturday and completed the remaining playoff and championship games on Sunday if they advanced. This year, teams had their pool-play and playoff games all in the same day. Youth division teams competed on Saturday and high school, adult and specialty divisions on Sunday.
The tournament was a joint effort between Eventuris and the City of Everett. Boeing returned as the presenting sponsor, and Amazon was a major sponsor providing the ever-popular player bag to each participant.
Also, all members of the Snohomish County Sports Commission (SCSC), Tammy, Nathan, Landyn and Taras, had boots on the ground operating the 3-point shot contest, which SCSC sponsors annually.
