We’re excited to announce that Tyler Gildersleeve-Stiles and Leyton Martin were selected as 2024-25 KRKO Russell & Hill High School Female and Male Athletes of the Year!
Tyler Gildersleeve-Stiles was a 10-time letter winner while competing at Snohomish High School in volleyball, basketball and track and field. And in addition to her athletic accomplishments, she was also ASB vice president, a National Honor Society member, 2025 class valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA and homecoming queen.
On the volleyball court, Gildersleeve-Stiles earned All-Wesco second-team honors her senior year. Though the Panthers qualified but never placed at the 3A state tournament in three of her four years, Snohomish still dominated at the District 1 3A tournament, placing fourth in 2021, claiming the title in 2022 and finishing runner-up in 2024.
On the hardwood as a junior during the 2023-24 season, the 6-foot-1 forward received All-State second-team and All-Wesco first-team honors, helping the Panthers claim the 3A District 1 title and a fifth-place trophy at the 3A state tournament. Gildersleeve-Stiles’ best game was as a junior in the district semifinals where she compiled 27 points and 18 rebounds. She then tallied a double-double the following night, including scoring the game winner with one second remaining to send Snohomish to the state tournament. Gildersleeve-Stiles also earned All-Wesco second-team honors as a sophomore and was an honorable mention as a freshman. At the 2022 3A state tournament, she was the second-highest rebounder, helping the Panthers to a fourth-place finish. Gildersleeve-Stiles concluded her career with 1,240 points, solidifying herself as Snohomish’s fourth all-time leading scorer and fifth all-time leading rebounder.
Gildersleeve-Stiles also competed all four years on the track and field team, placing sixth in the shot put at the 2025 3A state meet with a mark of 37-10.25. That achievement came after she had won every shot put event of the season, including the Wesco 3A North and 3A NW District 1 titles.
She currently attends Santa Clara University where she plays forward on the women’s basketball team.
