My name is Jason Waltman, and I am the director of Stars Unlimited a faith based non-profit organization that hosts many recreational and sporting events throughout Snohomish County and beyond. We have been doing so for over 30 years with the heart to connect, reach and build up communities with fun opportunities for kids and adults to compete, stay active and build relationships. I have had the opportunity to work with the Sports Commission the past 4 years on multiple events, and they have really helped guide us with promotion, tourism funding, volunteers and connecting with community leaders to help execute our events. I am truly thankful for the friendships I have built with their team. Their impact is evident on many levels with community building, economic support and helping groups make a larger impact with their involvement! Everett 3on3 presented by Boeing
When Eventuris initiated planning for the inaugural Everett 3on3, presented by Boeing, the Snohomish County Sports Commission was an instant supporter. Beyond introducing us to members of the greater Everett community, Tammy Dunn and her team guided us through grant funding, obtaining hotel partners, and tracking economic impact. Gratefully, Tammy, Dan Olson, and Nathan Caferro all directly contributed towards the tournament’s success. We’re excited for year 2 in 2023 and know we have a friend in the Sports Commission.

US Trail Running Conference
The Snohomish County Sports Commission exceeded my expectations at every step of the way of production of the 2022 US Trail Running Conference. From the initial connection, the excellent response to our RFP that they had clearly read, connecting me with potential sponsors and partners, to the final day of the event, Tammy, Nathan, and the team have been professional, courteous, and extremely helpful. The location provided us with an amazing facility for our Conference, infrastructure to support everything we needed, and also excellent trails on which to enjoy some well-deserved forest bathing! The Commission comes highly recommended, choose them and the Pacific Northwest for your sporting event and you will not be disappointed!
