Snohomish High’s 1976 WA Class 3A (highest classification at the time) state champions is considered by many as Snohomish County’s finest football team. It was undefeated with a season record of 9-0, a playoff record of 3-0, and a state championship game win over Federal Way, 20-7. The legendary and hall of fame football coach, Dick Armstrong, was the head coach. During the regular season schedule, the team outscored its opponents 254-47.
