Professional & Collegiate Teams

Snohomish County is home to many professional sport teams.

Evergreen Speedway
Evergreen Speedway was originally constructed in 1954 as a dirt track for horse racing, but was paved over 10 year later, and now operates as Washington States only NASCAR-sanctioned racetrack. While the racing season runs from March to October, the speedway hosts a number of family friendly events all year round.

Snohomish County FC Steelheads
The Snohomish County Steelheads were established in 2017 as one of the county’s semi-pro soccer clubs. Along with operating 4 full teams, they offer multiple opportunities at low to no cost for youth and adults to play soccer and maintain a healthy lifestyle. They have multiple championships under their belt, with the Women’s Indoor Team holding the most recent victory as 2023 Northwest Premier League Indoor Champions.  Men’s and Women’s outdoor league runs late Spring into mid-summer, while the indoor league runs throughout the winter.

Everett Jets FC
In 2020, Everett Jets FC became the newest addition to semi-pro soccer in Snohomish County. They have quickly gained a local following within the past three years and remain undefeated in their current 2023 season. The Everett Jets currently only operate one team, and their season runs late Spring and into mid-summer.

Everett Silvertips
The Everett Silvertips hockey team was established in 2003 and operate out of Angel Of The Winds Arena. They are members of the U.S. Division in the Western Conference of the Western Hockey League. Their season runs from September through the end of March. Some notable NHL alumni from the team include Ryan Murray, Radko Gudas, and Noah Juulsen.

Everett AquaSox
The Everett AquaSox, Snohomish Counties Minor League Baseball team, was established in 1984 and operate out of Funko Field. They are a part of the Northwest League and are affiliated with the Seattle Mariners. They have won multiple division titles and one Northwest League Championship in 2020.Their season runs from early April into mid-September. Some notable MLB alumni from the club include
