Snohomish County offers sports facilities for a variety of individual and team sports, from basketball to softball, soccer to ice hockey, disc golf to volleyball and equestrian events to water sports.

Angel Of The Winds Arena is a 10,000-seat multipurpose facility. It features two NHL-ice sheets that can be converted into a 57,000-square-foot space, perfect for hosting trade shows and special events. The Edward D. Hansen Conference Center is equipped with three, 900-square-foot meeting rooms and an 11,000-square-foot ballroom that can be arranged into various configurations. Angel Of The Winds Arena has also been home to the Everett Silvertips, a nine-time Western Hockey League U.S. Division champion team, for more than 20 years. Angel of the Winds Arena has attracted locals and out-of-town visitors with 2018 Skate America, 2020 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Qualifiers, 2022 SLS Seattle, Harlem Globetrotters, EnduroCross, Professional Bull Riders, WWE and other major sports events and personalities.
A variety of hotels and restaurants are also within walking distance of the arena.

The Lynnwood Event Center opened in 2005 and provides 34,000 square feet of space for various events. The first floor can be configured into different layouts. There are six meeting rooms with built-in screens, used for small meetings and breakout areas or combined for large spaces. The second floor includes five meeting rooms, used for small meetings and breakout areas or combined for the largest event, totaling to more than 11,000 square feet of space. The first floor Lobby area is 6,472 square feet, and the second floor Lobby area is 6,123 square feet; both areas bring in much natural light. Both of the Lobby areas on each floor can also be separated into two areas or combined to use the entire space. There is an outdoor patio as well, ideal for indoor-outdoor entertainment. This venue is perfect for banquets, conferences and special events including chess, esports and martial arts.

Meadowdale Playfields is an outdoor lighted facility with three baseball/softball fields that have turf infield and natural grass outfields and two other multipurpose fields that provide space for soccer, football, rugby and lacrosse. There is a concession stand, walking trail, playground, basketball court, picnic facility, restrooms and decent space for parking. In 2024, the facility was a site for the USA Softball 14U-18U Western National Championships.

Stocker Fields, a 50-acre facility, features up to 17 grass soccer fields and is located within minutes of Historic Downtown Snohomish. The site hosts league games, annual tournaments and weekend events, specifically the annual Bigfoot tournament and River’s Edge Brewfest, both that bring in many youth teams and eventgoers. In spring 2025, Snohomish United played its USL League Two inaugural season, using Stocker Fields as its home turf. The facility is also a perfect venue for other sports, including Ultimate Frisbee, archery and cornhole. The facility has plenty of parking spaces, a large concession area and vendor booths.

The Darrington Archery Range is a family-friendly range that welcomes archers of all ages and skill levels, and it rests on more than 240 acres of forested land. The range features four courses, each with 28 targets, and one of the courses, the Dylan Range, is the first handicapped accessible 28-target outdoor range in the U.S. The site is also the home turf of the Darrington Archers club, and over the years, the range has hosted numerous events, including the World Archery Tournament in 1988 and several national outdoor tournaments.

Sky River Park rests on more than 32 acres and is one of two community parks in Monroe. There is an athletic field complex that features four natural-grass baseball fields, three soccer fields, pickleball courts, a concession building and restrooms. A 0.75-mile long pathway rounds out the park and attracts walkers throughout the summer. There also are outdoor picnic areas, a large children’s play area, ample parking and two large covered shelters that can be reserved for parties.

Lake Tye Park rests on 64 acres and hosts several community events throughout the year. It features a 42-acre recreational lake, enjoyed by a variety of water enthusiasts. Walkers, runners and bicyclists regularly enjoy the views along the 1.63-mile loop trail around Lake Tye, which is linked to other community trail segments. The site also includes a non-guarded beach and boat launch, two large-covered picnic shelters for parties, a concession building, children’s play area, synthetic and dirt softball/baseball fields, synthetic full-sized soccer/lacrosse fields, tennis/pickleball and basketball courts and parking space for about 200 vehicles.

Phil Johnson Ballfields is an outdoor lighted facility with four softball/baseball diamonds and space to fit four soccer fields for youth games. There also is a playground, picnic tables and restrooms. In the spring, the fields serve as a neutral location for the annual WIAA 3A and 4A district fastpitch softball tournaments. And in 2024, the facility was a site for the USA Softball 14U-18U Western National Championships.

Kasch Park features four lighted softball fields and one Little League field. There’s also three lighted synthetic turf fields for soccer, lacrosse and Ultimate Frisbee. Other features include a barbeque, picnic shelter and tables, playground, restrooms and ample parking.

Walt Price Fitness Center is located on the Everett Community College campus and is home to the Everett CC Trojans. It is a 49,000-square-foot space with a gym and retractable bleacher seating for more than 2,000 spectators, cardio and weight training room, climbing wall, running track and multipurpose small gym. There is also an adjacent parking lot across the street.

Seaview Gynmasium is located on the Edmonds Community College campus and is home to the Edmonds CC Tritons. It is a 14,200-square-foot space that can be configured to accommodate two full-court basketball courts for tournament play or used as one college-sized floor with retractable bleachers that can seat more than 500 spectators. The gym can also fit three full-sized volleyball courts and can host karate tournaments, MMA fighting, roller derby and other events.

Bellevue Badminton Club was established in 2005 and could only provide five courts. Now, the club has quickly expanded to 48 courts across its four locations (Bellevue, Mukilteo, Renton and Remond) and become the premier destination for badminton enthusiasts. Just recently, the club announced it can offer pickleball at the Mukilteo and Renton locations. The club has also hosted the 2016 USA Junior National Championships and the 2018 USA Adult National Championships.

Strawberry Fields Athletic Complex is a 72-acre sports facility that features three lighted full-size soccer fields (two grass and one synthetic turf), a picnic area, trail and restrooms, all lining the Quilceda Creek system.

Since 1949, the Evergreen State Fair Park, a 193-acre park at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. The Fairgrounds have several permanent facilities that are used year-round for horse shows, trade shows, swap meets, auto races and other events. Facilities include the Gary D. Weikel Events Center (36,000-square-foot multipurpose building with 16-foot doors and 6-foot man doors), Evergreen Speedway (a 7,500-covered seating grandstand, home to the only NASCAR venue in Washington state), a clear-span sporting arena that can seat 4,000 eventgoers, two RV areas with dump stations and a variety of other permanent exhibition facilities.

The Olympic View Arena is a full-time ice sports training facility that features a full-service hockey and figure skating pro shop, warm and inviting view of the lobby and off-ice weight training room. It does not offer public skating. Visit Lynnwood Ice Center for public skating.

North Cove Park rests on a four-acre waterfront park, located in downtown Lake Stevens. It features a picnic shelter and tables, playground, boardwalk, observation deck, fishing pier, public dock, swimming area, restrooms and space for parking. North Cove Park has also been home to the annual Aquafest event, Lake Stevens Spring Sprint Regatta, Lake Stevens Triathlon and Lake Stevens Farmer’s Market over the years. The Mill, which is a multipurpose building with two levels, is located next to the park and is great for events.
Fun fact: Lake Stevens is also the largest lake in Snohomish County.

Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort is a disc golfer’s dream. There’s more than 290 acres of real estate (formerly the Kayak Point Golf Course) to play four different courses on with more than 80 tee pads and 75 baskets. Total length of play is 26,508 feet. Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort features an 18-hole pitch and putt course, a driving range, the Aces BBQ & Grill restaurant and bar, a pro shop, event rental space and nearby camping opportunities. The resort also has three courses: Red (Par 65, 18 holes, 8,200 feet, beginner-intermediate), Blue (Par 59, 18 holes, 6,759 feet, intermediate-advanced) and Gold (Par 60, 18 holes, 10,167 feet, advanced-pro).
Fun fact: The Red and Gold courses have each ranked in the top 100 courses in the world and ranked within the top five courses in Washington state.

Lake Stevens Community Park rests on 40 acres, formerly used as an old homestead and timber-harvesting site. It features four athletic fields, three ballfields (two baseball and one softball), two half-sport courts, a playground, walking paths, restrooms and about 280 spaces for parking.
