At the Legends Athletics Youth Football Camp at Kamiak High School on Friday, Aug. 15, kids ages 6-11 learned the fundamentals of football, taught by former NFL and collegiate players. The campers trained athleticism and speed, offensive and defensive skills and participated in games and mentorship discussions.
Instructors included Lofa Tatupu (former Seattle Seahawks linebacker), Ivan McLennan (current Kamiak High School varsity head coach and former Atlanta Falcons linebacker), Scott Lawyer (former University of Washington linebacker), Kerry Carter (former Seattle Seahawks running back), Paulina López (current Seattle Majestics linebacker) and Jacob Swilley (former Central Washington University defensive back and George Fox University running back).
