June 13, 2025

Attention Snohomish County teams, coaches, players and parents:

Looking for a local, postgame get-together to celebrate a victory? Add Dick’s Drive-In at 1629 Center Road to the list.

On Thursday, June 12, the Snohomish County Sports Commission attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the first Dick’s Drive-In to be stationed in Everett! A long-awaited occasion, eventgoers enjoyed burgers, fries, shakes, music, an old-fashioned car show and all the fixin’s.

Snohomish County Councilmember Megan Dunn, Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin, Everett City Councilmember Paula Rhyne, State Representative Julio Cortes, members of the Snohomish County Sheriff Department, Everett Police Department and Snohomish County Fire Department and several other community leaders were in attendance. The NW Junior Pipe Band, Mariner High School Marching Band, Kamiak High School Jazz Band and Jackson High School Drum Line performed. And Everett Silvertips mascot (Lincoln the Bear), Everett AquaSox mascot (Webbly) and Washington Wolfpack mascot (Apollo) took part in the festivities.

Activities continue this weekend with Free Father’s Day Frisbee on Sunday to the first 500 dads between 11 AM – 4 PM.
