The 2026 Seattle North Spartan Event Weekend welcomed more than 1,500 participants from across Washington state, the U.S. and Canada to the lush green fields and forest trails along the Snohomish River from May 2-3.
The Seattle North Spartan Event Weekend is the first of two races held in Snohomish County each year. The Seattle Spartan North American Championship Trifecta Weekend, which the Snohomish County Sports Commission covered last year, is the largest event of the two and will occur this September. The Seattle North Spartan Event Weekend features the Sprint 5K (20 obstacles) and Super 10K (25 obstacle) races along with a Kids race (1-3KM + obstacles) whereas the Trifecta Weekend includes the Sprint and Super races but also the Beast 21K (30 obstacles) race.
Obstacles present during the Seattle North Spartan Event Weekend included the Walls, Monkey Bars, Hercules Hoist, Rope Climb, Olympus, A-Frame Cargo, Dunk Wall, Atlas Carry, Spear Throw and Sandbag Carry.
