Event Recap: 2026 Harvey Cup welcomes 25+ lacrosse clubs for weekend showdown

Harvey Cup has been a staple in the Snohomish County lacrosse community for the past 15 years.

Since the tournament’s inception in 2011, the Snohomish Lacrosse Club, which is now jointly managed by the Snohomish Lacrosse (SnoLax) and Glacier Peak (GP) clubs, initially created the tournament as the North Sound Championship to be tailored toward local recreational teams, and it was held at Harvey Field in Snohomish for the first 12 years. But as the tournament gained popularity, it quicky increased its registration numbers and expanded beyond the Northern Lacrosse Leagues to include clubs from across Washington state. Today, the tournament is open to any recreational team in the Pacific Northwest and Canada.

In 2023, the location transitioned from Harvey Field to Kasch Park in Everett, but in 2025 and 2026 the tournament was hosted at the Snohomish and Glacier Peak high schools and Willis D. Tucker Community Park because of the space need guarantee more played games for all the registered clubs.

From May 29-31, this year’s Harvey Cup welcomed 27 clubs and 80 teams to the area, creating another exciting weekend for the desired Harvey Cup trophy. Clubs that registered included Arlington, Bellevue, Bellingham, BC LAX, Cedarcrest, Eastlake, Emerald Ridge, Glacier Peak, GK Eagles, Lake Stevens, Lake Washington, Marysville, Mercer Island, Mount Si, Mukilteo, North County, Orting, Props, Seattle Blackfish, Seattle Warriors, Skagit Valley, Snohomish, Stanwood, Tahoma, Tacoma Tigers, UPLC Vikings and Woodinville, and age-group divisions were divided from Kindergarten-second, third-fourth, fifth-sixth and seventh-eighth grades.

Snohomish — 3/4 Silver Champion

University Place — 5/6 Gold Champion

Mercer Island Silver — 5/6 Silver Champion

Mercer Island Black — 7/8 Gold Champion

Skagit Valley — 7/8 Silver Champion
