Event Recap: 2025 Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire
August 21, 2025

The 2025 Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire brought 16th-century living to Sky Meadows in Snohomish from July 19 to Aug. 17.

As families and friends entered Towne Gate into the Village of Merriwick, they embarked on a journey along Wanderer’s Way, visiting the Maypole, waving to Faye the Living Statue, taking part in archery and sword fighting, getting their hair braided and face painted, weaving baskets, observing the blacksmiths and their craft, and shaming those who walked through the streets before entering the jail. Children swung on the Dragon Swing, forged alliances and fought to the death at Boffer Arena, and learned the fundamentals of axe throwing. Down Champion’s Row, eventgoers watched knights joust at the Royal Arena, or they took a swig at the Red Dragon Inn.

Some of the several performers included Ses Carny and his fire-eating, knife-throwing talent, Robin Hood & Maid Marian and their magical storytelling, Manis O’Tool and his Imperial Tibetan Yak Show, and BrooN and his comedic magic.

Until next year, fare thee well, my lord and my lady.
