The 2025 Lake Tye Triathlon welcomed hundreds of competitors from across Washington state and the U.S. into Monroe on Saturday, Aug. 2, and everyone at the Snohomish County Sports Commission took part in the 16th-annual, USAT-sanctioned event.

Sprint, Olympic and youth triathlons, along with Duathlon and Aquabike races, provided great options for every skill level, beginner to elite. The Sprint distance consisted of a 1/4-mile swim, 14-mile bike ride and 3.1-mile run, Olympic distance was a 1500-meter swim, 27-mile bike ride and 6.2-mile run and the Duathlon featured a 1.5-mile run, 14-mile bike ride and 3.1-mile run.
