From April 18-19, the National Softball Association of Washington state (NSAWA) hosted its 2026 Snohomish County Opener at Kasch Park and Phil Johnson Ballfields, both located in Everett.
Brackets consisted of 54 teams, 10 in 10U and 22 in the 12U and 14U each, spanning from all parts of Washington state. Of the 10U division, KB Smoke claimed the gold bracket with a 16-0 victory, and KB Sauce secured the silver bracket with a 17-4 win. Of the 12U division, Lady Mavs took the gold bracket with a 5-0 win, Elevate Lamens narrowly claimed the silver bracket with a 4-3 victory and New Level snagged the bronze bracket with a 10-4 win. Of the 14U division, Ladyhawks Apfel won the gold bracket with a 5-1 victory, SFC Wild narrowly secured the silver bracket with a 4-3 win and NL Impact claimed the bronze bracket with a 9-0 victory.
NSAWA’s upcoming tournaments include the Skagit Classic (May 16-17), Sterling Invite (May 23-25), Western World Qualifier (May 30-31), Schools Out Invite (June 13-14) and the State Tournament (June 26-28).
