Sunny skies, food trucks, live DJ, 3-point and slam dunk contests, basketball hoops and smiles — Everett 3on3 presented by Boeing is back and at a new site!
For the past four years, the annual basketball tournament has been held in downtown Everett with hoops lining the pavement of Colby and Wetmore avenues. But for 2026, the fifth anniversary of the event, the location has moved to Everett Community College (EvCC). The change allows games to still be played outdoors, but there will also be an indoor component at the Walt Price Student Fitness Center, the home court of the EvCC Trojans men’s and women’s basketball teams.
The tournament dates are Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19, and registration is open at everett3on3.net. The first 30 teams to register receive $30 off the regular team fee by entering the promo code $30FOR30 upon checkout.
Another difference this year is the scheduling of games. In previous years, teams played their three guaranteed pool-play games on Saturday and completed the remaining playoff and championship games on Sunday if they advanced. This year, teams will have their pool-play and playoff games all in the same day. Youth division teams will compete on Saturday, and high school, adult and specialty divisions on Sunday.
Below is information copied verbatim from the press release.
The tournament is a joint effort between Eventuris and the City of Everett. Boeing is once again the presenting sponsor. Amazon returns as a major sponsor, providing the ever-popular player bag to each participant.
“Everett is more than where we build airplanes — it’s our community,” said Bill McSherry, Boeing vice president of State Advocacy & Global Engagement. “We’re proud to support the Everett 3on3 because it brings people together and celebrates the spirit of this city.”
“Boeing’s foundational support, along with the City of Everett, Snohomish County, Everett Community College and the whole Everett community, makes this event even more meaningful,” said Eventuris principal Rick Steltenpohl. “We’re excited to welcome teams and fans from throughout the Pacific Northwest for this fantastic basketball weekend.”
Hundreds of basketball games, activities for attendees of all ages and numerous food trucks will showcase Everett as a premier destination for outstanding basketball.
“Everett 3on3 is one of our city’s favorite summer traditions,” said Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin. “We’re excited to bring that energy and momentum to North Broadway — creating even more opportunities to connect and explore everything Everett has to offer. We’re grateful to Boeing and Eventuris for their ongoing partnership, which makes this tournament possible.”
