The 2026 AAU Taekwondo PNW District Qualifier took to the mats inside Seaview Gymnasium on Edmonds College’s campus on March 28. This was the first year the tournament was held in Edmonds after being hosted in Lynnwood for several years, dating back to before 2020.
Participant numbers tallied more than 100 with individuals traveling from Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, Georgia, Hawaii and parts of Washington state. The event list included poomsae, speed and power board breaking, traditional forms, traditional sparring and Olympic sparring with novice (white, yellow, orange belts), intermediate (green, blue, purple belts) and advanced levels (brown, red, black belts).
